At Fairway we believe in giving back on a local & national level. We also believe in team building & celebrating success. Enjoy the galleries below & find out more about how we are involved with our community!
Our team had so much fun in the sun this past May at our first annual Spring Fling Event at Pullen Park! We all enjoyed a delicious lunch from the food trucks from Gonza, Fatboyz & Local Fresh Ice Cream. We discovered that we have a lot of competitors on our team as we played multiple kickball games. We can’t wait to do it again next year!
Our socially distanced Christmas Party was one for the books! After being apart for so long due to the pandemic, it was such a joy to gather outside of our new office for a chilly but wonderful celebration! Complete with gifts for the kiddos, hot chocolate bar, food trucks and sweet treats, a great time was had by all!
The theme at our 2019 was “Slaying the Giants” and our team did just that! We learned so much about conquering difficulties we encounter and further our education on tools that we can use to better serve our clients. We had the opportunity to celebrate the year’s accomplishments & prepare for another stellar year ahead of us. The event was topped off by The Fairway Band that included our very own Producing. Branch Manager Joe Pessolano!
Give Back To Our Community
Our team gathered in Clayton to attend & sponsor The JoCo Flags For Heroes Tribute honoring our active military, veterans, firefighters, police & first responders! Fairway sponsored 31 of the 1,100 flags on the field in honor of our military team members & their families. Thank you to all of our local heroes & Clayton. Rotary Club!
Joy Week is by far our favorite time of year for the Fairway Of The Triangle Team! We spend 5 days giving back to our community & love every minute of it! This year all branches participated in give back initiatives in their hometowns so we were able to spread joy all across the Triangle! This year we were able to offer our services to The Clayton Community Garden, Community of Hope Ministries, the Wake Forest Fire Department, Hillside Nursing & Rehab Center, Wake Up & Read, Corral Center & more!
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is very special to us not just with our local offices, but also company wide. This year we raised funds for the Susan G. Komen Foundation through our Pumpkin Decorating Contest & virtual auction! Our team had such a fun time decorating pumpkins together & we were delighted to have contributed to such an amazing organization.
Second Hope is a thrift store that helps benefit the ‘me tine’ foundation. They run solely off of donations from everyday people & our entire team stepped up to help! We filled 3 cars full of donations from all of Our branches to donate to the shop. We were truly touched to learn about the meaningful work that the Me Fine Foundation does, you can learn more by visiting their website at www.mefinefoundation.com
Once a year our entire company spreads joy throughout our communities on Random Acts of Kindness week and we have a great time doing it! This year was a little different with the pandemic but we were still able to give back through our virtual kindness challenges so that each team member could participate remotely. Check out the stories of love & joy in this gallery!
Our team was treated to an amazing meal at The Cooking For A Classic event! Fairway of The Triangle sponsored the event by participating in the silent auction & sponsored two tables. All proceeds from the event are raised for The Lucy Daniels Center in Cary to support emotional and mental health services for children birth to 12 years old, the time of life when the most effective interventions are possible. We were so proud to sponsor such a special event & really appreciate the work that The Lucy Daniels Center does for families in our community.
We love our veterans & active military members and were so honored to host an AWI event right here in the Triangle this year! We sponsored a CT class for our realtor partners to learn more about how to best serve military members navigating the home buying process. Additionally with AWI we raised $10,000 for a local veteran in need. Many of our team members donate to AWI monthly and you’ll always catch us in wearing RED shirts on Fridays to honor those that serve and protect this great country that we love.
