About Vicky
Vicky Rowe was born and raised in northern Michigan on the shores of Lake Michigan and went to college at Michigan Technological University. After college, she worked in Michigan for a few years before moving to Atlanta and, in quick succession over ten years, to Pittsburgh, back to Atlanta, and finally to Raleigh in 1996, moving into her home in the aftermath of Hurricane Fran. Vicky has worked in various fields, including IT, internet marketing, and small business consulting. She also ran a marketing consulting company working with real estate, craft alcohol, and small shops for twenty years, before finding her calling as a loan officer. She loves the ability to help people achieve the American dream of owning a home. Although she works with all loan types, including Conventional, VA, USDA, and FHA, Vicky loves working most with veteran clients and self-employed clients. She makes her clients' path to their home smooth by staying in regular contact and leveraging her product knowledge and the expertise of the Fairway team. Vicky is completely committed to giving her customers the best journey possible and the best mortgage solution!
On a personal note, Vicky is 35 years happily married to John, has a grown daughter and two grandkids who live in Savannah, and is exuberantly loved on by her four feisty dogs. When she’s at play, Vicky enjoys traveling in her RV to visit friends (and wineries), doing living history events in the American Revolutionary War and English Elizabethan eras, black powder shooting competitions, and cooking for family and friends.
